Last N3 cite pasal makan, makan, and makan kat umah orang di Singapore. Now i wanna talk about our ronda - ronda. At rumah TokTeh, we spent almost three hours for eating, showering, relaxing, and praying before heading to Esplanade, a performing art theatre which looks like durian with its spiky look. Sebenarnya ini memang tempat yang me and hubby decided to go. Saja nak ke water front ni lah..Berangan nak boating lah apa lah.Tapi, mak aii (macam phrase yang Abang Ifan suka guna), one adult almost Sgd15, kid, of course half of it..Tak jadiiii... Kalau nak ke Sentosa Islands rasa - rasanya tak bolehlah kot..Hee..rakyat ramai sangat..Pocket pulak tengah sengkek..Apa tah lagi kalau nak ke Universal Studio.. Mau mak jadi penyanyi jalanan kat situ..INSYALLAH one day lah.. Tapi kami anak - beranak aja tau...
We started our journey at 15.53pm from TokTeh's house. TokTeh jadi our tour guide ( t.shirt merah tuu) plus bantuan GPS.. tak boleh harap sangat..pasal dia Singaporean celup..Wifey and kiddos je Singaporean..Dia Malaysianlah...
Speed limits here only 90km/h. Lebeh - lebeh kalu...., nampak camera atas signboard tu...Saman beb...
Sempat lak tangkap gambar aweks amoi Singapore ni..Baru balik sekolah. Seronok tengok diarang punya uniform.. Tak standardize macam Malaysia.. Ceria dan meriah. Every school has its own uniform.
High skyscrapers in Singapore.
Tiba di Esplanade, kami relax - relax kejap.. Matahari sedang memancar. At 17.00pm we reached there.. I converted my bucks here...Gosh!!! the currency..Sedihh sangat..Tukar RM1000, dapat cuma SGD380...hiks..hiks...Nak wat camno..Apa aje lah yang boleh dibeli agaknya..Tak boleh bayangkan kalau kat Malaysia ada RM380 dalam purse..Sikit tuuuu....
My bujang with TokTeh's bujang. Uncle Mie - yang carried Abang Ifan, and Uncle Syafiq - yang bagi penumbuk kat anak i tu.... Tinggi merenjau bebudak ni..Kalah bapak dia tu..
bersantai kejap sementara tunggu ahli rombongan Cik Kiah berkumpul.. Ada yang b....k lah, k..c..g lah...
yo..yo...what's up beb.. Kan main lagi my mommy and my puppy ni.. Cam orang memuda je sambil merenung masa depan.
We were heading to the water front.
While at here, on the left side tersergam menjulang tinggi Marina Bay Sand. Kat atas ni ada outdoor swimming pool yang katanya the largest in the world. Kat situ nak berjudi ke, nak stay kat hotel dia yang ala - ala resort ke, semua boleh..Janji kepala singa kena banyak..Officially opened in June and expected fully completed in December. Rasa - rasanya takut nak stay kat hotel ni.. Serammm..condition kat atas tu menyeramkan..Kepala rimau pun seram....
Gerun pun ada tengok skyscraper cam ni. Dah tua - tua macam ni, rasanya macam tak sanggup nak naik..Takut jadi WTC New York which were destroyed in September 11, 2001 by terrorist.
Abang Google yang sedekah tadi gambar ni..Pergghh memang menakjubkan...
posing with the view of Marina Bay Sand
kena dari angle lain lak..
dengan khyusuknya kami mendengar penerangan dari Tourist Guide kami ni, Ami..Thanks a lots. Nanti belanja p Bali, ok tak? But not for surfing...hee...
Dari Marina Bay Waterfront sudah ternampak Merlion - tau apa benda ni.. It is an imaginary creature with head of a lion and the body of a fish. The word Merlion is formed by combining two words, mermaid and lion. Tak tau lah history or mitos nya dulu... But this is used as a Singapore National icon..
We were using the 3.5km pedestrian - friendly which accessible to the Merlion Statue. Kena jalan pelan - pelan.. My mommy boleh salute lah..Tahan tu berjalan..
berhenti kejap, posing...at the bridge to Merlion Statue
and posing lagi....teman boleh lah berposing sebab kali ni teman ada jurugambar imported lagi..Thanks TokTeh..Kalau tak, tak merasa lah muka teman terpampang banyak kat sini...
stop lagi..waduk capek bangett...
sambung lagi jalan.. Sebenarnya panas tu lagi..time ni at 17.42pm..Memancar lagi cahaya..Tapi kuatkan semangat.. Kalau tak rugi...
Sepanjang jalan depa ni tak penah diam.Tengoklah aksi - aksi diarang ni. And kami duk lagiiiiii .....and......
At last.... sampailah kami di sini...
Tengoklah ye, all the photos taken here..
Sebelum balik sempat lak melabur kat apek jual ice cream potong ni..Sedapppp. Chef Ciju sedang menikmatinya..Awat Nenek tu??? Sedap sangat - sangat kot....
Street Circuit
TokTeh and TokNgah
Selepas session posing memosing tadi kami decided to have our dinner at Lau Pa Sat. Ikut je lah kata tourist guide kami ni.. Kawasannya ada yang open air..So, kami ke area itu dan di sini nampaknya macam satay street.. Kami diterjah oleh pekerja - pekerja gerai.. Kami duduk di gerai No 8. First thing, depa hulur satay punya menu..YA RABBI. terbuntang bijik mata tengok harga tiap satu menu..
the ambiance of Lau Pa Sat Hawker Street - kat sini penuh dengan satay stall.
waiting for the food. kelakar muka diarang kan..Toye je..
satay stalls
sebelum makan, kena amik gambar dulu..
this set of satay - 15 chicken 15 lamb and plus
10 sticks of prawn costs us SGD 38 per set.. ALLAH...Tak kan nak order one set. SO, we ordered 2 set. So, kira sendiri lah..
Cak koi yang sumbat dengan sotong SGD 8. And drink yang Chef CiJu beli cost her almost SGD 20
Siput gonggong favorite Chef CiJu. I tak makan lah siput gitu gaya.. tak lalu lah..SGD 8
Hubby ordered Murtabak (Pontian punya 10X lebih sedap) 2 sets, every set SGD 10 and 2 sets of Roti John with the same price too. (Calculate ok..)
Sempatlah bergambar sebelum meninggalkan Hawker Street yang 'best' sangat ni...
Hairan gak..why so expensive here.. Bila kita almost nak habis makan, one of the towkey datang ke meja kitarang. Dia cerita, semalam ANUAR ZAIN datang pat situ. Mereka anak beranak makan kat gerai dia.. Then dia cerita lagi, artis itu datang, artis ini datang... Emmmm ..... patut lah tempat ni mahal... Tempat celebrity jamu selera..Bagi kami, sampai nak tertutup selera you..INSYALLAH..INSYALLAH kami tak akan ke sini lagi....Kalau orang Singapore belanja, tak pe..heee
On the next day, after breakfast cum lunch, we went to Woodland Causeway for some shopping. First target was Charles and Keith. Kat Malaysia ada satu di Mid Valley. Kalau tak silap famous blogger proudduck mention that a new store ada dibuka di area Bukit Bintang. Chef CiJu and Chef KoYa had been here before somewhere in March or April at Marina Square..So, depa nak terkam itu handbags...Well, the price after converting pun still ok. Means much much cheaper rather than kalau kita beli di Malaysia.
My kiddos yang really knew how to spend their spare time..Kat atas lantai pun cukup..Yelah, i pun kat sini, bila penat sangat, i duk je atas lantai. No benches... Duduk je , bukan mintak sedekah..
Spent about half an hour here before heading to Metro. I just stayed with the kids outside while others did some shopping here, at Metro.. Then we went to BANQUET which serves HALAL food on the seventh floor.. Emmmm kedai makan yang ber concept cam ni lah yang kita mau for last nite punya dinner. Tapi nak wat cam ne..Memang dah rezeki orang Lau Pa Sat lah..Varieties food here yang boleh kita dapat and the price was also reasonable.
Abang Ifan jalan dulu dengan Nasi Ayam..Lapar betul dia
Stalls
Sedapnya Nasi Ayam Abang Ifan
Mee Rebus with thick gravy
Selepas makan bebudak ni main while kami did some shopping at Aussino. Really cheap. Towel at SGD4.50..Tak sah kalau ke Singapore kalau tak beli towel.heeeee
Relax kejap before bertolak balik ke rumah TokTeh
Di manakan pojaan hati ku ini..
Ayam penyet bakar
Then kami bersiap - siap nak balik and dropped by at TokTeh's house before going back to Pontian...Mandi, makan, minum, menyembang, and sholat...Kami siap did some massage untuk kaki..Almaklummmm..penat dah..
Keluar rumah nak bertolak balik dari rumah TokTeh
We enjoyed the trip. ALHAMDULLILAH semuanya selamat. INSYALLAH ada rezeki kami akan ke sana lagi dengan perancangan lebih teliti. Teringin nak bawak kids to Singapore Night Safari. AMEEN..
