Day 5 in Jeju - March 8, 2016
ready dah nak keluar. today we wanted to explore some parts of Jeju Island. memang masa kami tak lama di Jeju.. tapi at least few places boleh kami kunjungi. yang penting just enjoyed the moment.. tapiiii.. sebelum tu, kita makan dulu.. bagi tenaga..
kami mulakan dengan our breakfast.. Nasi Lemak.
tukang masak dan tukang kacau get ready nak makan. air pun dah sedia tu.
lagi hebat depa masak tak pakai rice cooker tau.. pakai periuk tu je. terror lah. pandai anak dara ni. nampak botol tu? itu Sambal Tumis Ikan Bilis Mem Sue.. wallahhhhh.. sedak weii.. sedak..
kalau kita ke New Zealand nanti sure boleh buat lagi kan Illa?
anak daras dah started makan, mak daras sibuk ngambik gambo. insta punya pasai.
see... pagi kami di Jeju dengan Nasi Lemak Illa. Cewahhhh... pandai anak dara ni masak Nasi Lemak. some of the bahan we brought from Malaysia. i bawak berasmathi yang i beli dari Kakcik tu.. the rest ada yang orang tu, orang ni bawak..
then kami pun berjalan menuju ke kereta di parking area. i drove the car first. tapi kan masa nak keluarkan dari parking tu i memang bit kelam kabut. dalam hati kurang yakin, plus i was so sure the rest pun tak berapa nakin dengan i masa tu. heeeee, so that memang agak failed masa memula nak keluarkan. nak reverse. hancus.. Walhal, my own car pun sama je cam kereta ni gak.. cuma tu lah, i think coz of the driver side lah gamaknya.
melihat keadaan i yang kelam kabut nak keluarkan kereta tu, one guy yang tadi hanya duduk dalam kereta di tepi kereta kami, terus mai kat kami. beriya2 dia nak bantu. but i smelled something. bau arak.. eeemmm mamat mabuk rupa - rupa nya..
even mabuk2 tu ALHAMDULILAH, berjaya gak dia guided me. heeeeee.. lawak lah.. then terus i keluar dari that area. Sekali lagi tercengang.. masa nak keluar simpang. i stopped kat tengah2 jalan tu. sebab ada kereta nak masuk dan i nak keluar.. coz of my system kepala masih belum adjusted to the current situtation, i buat macam belah driver tu belah kanan.. terpana seketika. ha..haa..haa.. tapi melihat kami semuanya species dari benua mana agaknya (sebab bertudung kan.) depa senyum kambing je lah.
then we stopped in front of our hostel. (Lyndon Hostel) sebab direction kami macam pelik je.
di depan ni i mintak tulun pakcik K pop ni..heee... hehe.. sama gakkkk.. ngak bisa berbahasa Inggeris dia. waduhhhhh... but then we mentioned to him we wanted to go to Jeju Stone Park.. dia pun at first kurang mahir but ended up ok lah. tapi still macam tak yakin so kami buat semula dan sama2 kami try to find out how.
kami masukkan number phone semula.. memang kena buat semula setelah si itik dan si ayam berbahasa yang susah difahami. anyway, the distance between Jeju Stone Park from Jeju City adalah kurang lebih 13. 2 KM. and the phone number for this Jeju Stone Park adalah +82647107731. then we made it.. yeayyyyyy!!! ALHAMDULILAH BARAKALLAH..
memang sebelum ke Jeju i dah dapat kan info yang kalau di Jeju ni, ke mana2 tempat kita nak tuju boleh kita gunakan phone number dan masukkan ke GPS. nanti dari situ GPS akan guide kita. senangkan.. so semalam sebelum kami keluar, i dah suruh our staff dapatkan the whole phone numbers for some places which we have decided to visit.
Okkk...our journey was so smooth. semangat i bawak kereta. tangan pun straight je.. al maklum, first time bawak sebelah kiri ni.. anyway, at last ok sangat dah..
views all the way lah ni.. hijau nampak for some parts.
some parts cam ni pulak.. pokok2 baru nak tumbuh semula.
dan akhirya, kami nampak dah tempat ni. Jeju Stone Park.
Jeju Stone Park was rated A by Korea Ministry of Culture and Tourism, in recognition that this park is excellent in term of its specialization in the theme of stone, differentiation from other facilities, and characteristics relating to mythology and the life of the people in the region.
pusing dan pusing mencari parking area..
besar gak wei this area,, jenuh gak nak cover tu..
Located in Jocheon-eup, Jeju-si, Jeju Stone Park was inspired by Jeju's history of myth, stone and spirit. The main theme consists of the legend about Seolmundae Halmang (Grandmother Seolmundae) who created Jeju Island and the stones of Obaek Janggun (the Five Hundreds Generals). The park provides a historical and cultural space where collected stones express Jeju's foundation and culture.
tak pe.. kita cari parking dulu.
dan akhirnya.. kat sini i found out i was so ok with the weather.. the rest with winter coat depa.. i lak simpan je dalam kereta.. panas badan i you.. maybe gara - gara i makan habatussauda.. memang berpeluh2 i.. sakan..
Lady driver memulakan langkah.
once tiba di sini, we cud smell unpleasant odor lah.. maybe belerang kot. we were not sure. tapi once tiba sini, suasana bit gloomy then bila tengok pokok2 yang rontok tu kan, dalam hati ada sikit kacau lah. heeeee.. cam serem je.. tapi simpan je dalam hati.. tak nak cabul mulut lah kan.
this park is a park full of stones, definitely. jom kita masuk and find out is it interesting or not. worth it or not kannn..
jommm.. we go to the entrance area.
Jeju Stone Park ini is a huge man-made park which covers Stone Museum, Obaek Janggoon Gallery and a traditional Jeju Village. so kalau nak cover semua kami tak boleh lah.. so here we just covered Course 1 iaitu Garden of Myth.

underground Jeju Stone Museum which tells the story of how Jeju is formed through displays of geological formations and volcanic activities. entrance fee, FREE. tapi kami tak masuk lah. malas lah pulak.. kami ronda sakan di atas je sambil tangkap gambar.. tu yang penting kannn..
The museum is built on a former landfill and is designed so that only the roof of the two-story building is seen from outdoors, allowing for an unobtrusive presence working in harmon with the surrounding nature. The lower and higher levels of the museum exhibit geological formations of Jeju Island and stone formations found on the Island, respectively. The roof of the museum functions as an outdoor stage. The exterior walls and the floors of the museum emulate the colors and textures of Jeju. The walls are made of exposed Jeju basalt concrete and the floors of Jeju volcanic ash. The floor plan of the museum portrays the Grandmother Seolmundae and is a symbol of the Stone Park. (google)
okkkkkk... welfie time.
Cik Illa kita pun sedang berusaha fix the stick. nampak yang bulat belah kiri tu? itu "Sky Pond".
Legends about Grandmother Seolmundae say she was 49,000 meters tall. According to one legend, she sacrificed herself of her starving children. Another legend says that she died boasting of her gigantic stature. Different facets of human nature – endless motherly love, arrogance, strength and weakness – are depicted in these legends. The Sky Pond on the roof of the museum symbolizes the cauldron she threw herself into in order to save her starving children and Muljangori pond in which she drowned boasting of her height. It will also function as a stage on water for plays, dances, concerts, etc
