Kashmir now, autumn and winter.

(my ex tour guide in 2012 and 2014)....

Sebagai mengubat rindu, walaupun i baru je balik dari sana last April 2014, still jiwa ingin ke sana lagi.. nak buat macamana kannn.. itu lah i.. kalau dah suka, i akan pergi dan pergi lagi.. macam Bali lahh... tak jemu ke sana walau sudah 8 kali i ke sana.. cuma Kashmir ni agak jauh dan belanja ticket ni agak lumayan lah kann..

Anyway, bila ada yang ke sana dan share the pictures with me, kira terubat sikit lah jiwa lara i ni.. ok lahh.. tengok je gambar -gambar kat sini ye..

ini group of 3 girls..sakan depa... pegi ke tempat yang i tak pernah pegi lagi.. and some of the tour ke Kashmir tak akan offer these places lah.. tapi dengan Routemaster, u can ask for it...

They went to waterfall.. namanya  Aharbal Waterfall..

sikit info ye..

Aharbal is a hill station in the south-western part of Kashmir Valley in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir, 75 km south of the state capital SrinagarAharbal lies in the Kulgam district  of Jammu and Kashmir. It is located on the Veshu River, a tributary of the Jehlum River, in analpine valley covered in pine and fir trees within the Pir Panjal mountains, 18 km south of the town of Shopian and 28 km west of Kulgam.  It lies at an altitude of 2266 metres above sea level.

Aharbal is known for its waterfall, Aharbal Falls, where the Veshu falls noisily 25 metres and 7 metres through a narrow gorge of granite boulders. Aharbal Falls are also referred to as the Niagara Falls of Kashmir, owing to the volume of the water that falls. According to a report, the water volume would be sufficient to generate 100 MW of hydroelectricity. The terraces leading to the falls are fenced, but care must be taken to avoid slipping.  (Wikipedia source).

ini pulak Sinthan Top.. (pun i tak pernah pegi).. but next time for sure.. sorry Sue kalau ada some of the pictures bukan area Sinthan Top... They went during SUMMER.. still boleh nampak sikit snow kan kat sini.. ye lah. tempat tinggi.. ok some info about this place.

Sinthen top is a hill station, a popular tourist destination located in South Kashmir’s Breng Valley (Sub-District Kokernag) in Anantnag district in the Indian state of Jammu and KashmirThe Sinthan pass connects Kashmir valley with Jammu Province through Kistwar. It is 12,500 feet (3,800 m) above sea level and is snow-capped for most of the year. It is located at 33°34'N and 75°30'E at the Anantnag-Kokernag-Kishtwar NH1B Highway, and is 130 km south of Srinagar and 73 km from Anantnag and 48 km from Kokernag. Sinthan Top has no local population. Shepherds from adjoining places like Kokernag, Duksum, and tourists and those working in the tourism industry may stay overnight in tents.

Like other areas of the valley, Sinthan Top is known for its beauty and wonderful tourist attractions. The place is fast growing as one of the top tourist destination in Kashmir. Around 37 kilometers of snaky and uphill drive from Daksum, it offers an adventurous journey. The spot is emerging for mountaineering, trekking and skiing. Sinthan Top is easily accessible from Srinagar, almost 4–5 hours drive by car. Attractions like Kokernag, Dacksum and Achabal fall en-route that offer tourists varied choice of resting and makes traveling more pleasant and less tiresome.

At the spot called '360 Degree View', one can see areas of both Kashmir and Jammu Divisions. Also the spot itself can be a great resting place for people traveling from Srinagar to Kishtwar or Doda and back. Sinthan Top is the South-East end of Breng Valley (The Golden Crown of Kashmir)and is 48 km from famous Kokernag spring. The nearest hotels are located at Kokernag and Daksum ranging from extremely budget accommodation in private and Government huts to deluxe hotels. One should be able to book a night in a hotel or hut between rupess 1500 to 3500. One can plan to visit Lihinwan and the famous Margan Top in the Margan Valley and Inshan which are located in the same area.

satu lagi tempat yang depa pegi adalah Wular Lake.. even i went to this place during the last visit, tapi i didn't have a chance to visit the area that they went... ada curfew that area.. so now just enjoy the views..MASYALLAHHH...

info about Wular Lake ye...

Wular Lake (also spelt Wullar), One of the largest fresh water lakes in Asia, is in Bandipora district in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. The lake basin was formed as a result of tectonic activity and is fed by the Jhelum River. The lake's size varies seasonally from 12 to 100 square miles (30 to 260 square kilometers). Boating, water sports and water ski have recently been launched by the Government of India Tourism in collaboration with Kerala Tourism and J&K Tourism. The contract for the operation of the site was awarded in September 2011.

The lake is one of the 23 Indian wetlands designated as a Ramsar site. However it faces environmental threats including the conversion of large parts of the lake's catchment areas into agriculture land, pollution from fertilizers and animal wastes, hunting of waterfowl and migratory birds and weed infestation in the lake itself.
