Jom ke Wilayah Mosque

ALHAMDULLILAH, akhirnya tercapai hajat i nak beriktikaf di Masjid Wilayah ni. Just berniat. And ALHAMDULLILAH gak i dapat bersama - sama menunaikan Solat Jumaah di sana. Actually pasang niat nak ke sini, dah lama. Since my oversea fren selalu cakap pasal masjid ni. I felt so shy that i sendiri as Malaysian, tak pernah langsung ke sini. Minggu lepas, masa duk kat rumah on Firday, i bukak channel RTM1 dan dapat tengok khutbah Jumuah from this mosque. Maka bertambah - tambah lah keinginan untuk ke sini. And i made it on last Firday, August 12, 2011.
Let me put some facts about this mosque. It is one of the main mosque in Malaysia situated near government and MATRADE complex in Jalan Duta. It was built between 1998 to 2000. It was officiated by 12th Yang DiPertuan Agong , Syed Sirajuddin Syed Putra Jamalulail. This mosque can accommodate 17,000 people at one time.
It has Middle Eastern and Malay architecture and also is influential architectural Blue Mosque in Istanbul. It has 22 domees which made of a composite material of glass fibre fabric mixed with epoxy resin to make it durable and light. This 4-storey mosque costing 225Million to complete.

MASYALLAH.. besar dan indahnya..

After melilau - lilau, akhirnya...

This mosque is as if in the middle of the lake. Di sekeliling nya adalah air.

Me at the Anjung C. There are 4 Anjung.

The dome with carving stone .

The wood carving door. Katanya hanya ini dari Malaysia.

MASYALLAH.. how beautiful..This area also can accommodate huge jemaah during Eid Mubarak prayer.

Once we arrived ther, ALHAMDULLILAH, one of the volunteer, Puan Sharifah (she was so generous and very friendly) greeted us and offered us to her office. MASYALLAH we met many nice people here. Diarang ni boleh tunjuk or terang kan kat kita pasal this mosque. Really helpful. Tak dijangka.

Chef CiJu bersembang dengan one of the volunteer.

Akhirnya dapat lah i berada di atas ni untuk bersama - sama jemaah lain mengerjakan Solat Sunat Jumuah ( for us, ladies lah).

After solat, kami dibawa ke bahagian bawah dan diberikan penerangan berkenaan minbar di sini.

Stone carving were made at the main gate and the chamber. By using Makarana Marble which was staged in three centers located in Agra, Jaipur, and Makarana, India. Carved by skilled craftsmen in India and installed at the construction site by local workers and refined by Indian workers. It says that they are descendants of sculptors Taj Mahal.

Ramainya jemaah di sini.

Ni pulak selepas solat jumuah.

This chandelier using solar systems and can illuminate the whole inside of the mosque.

Amazing...

The minbar. Foreigner imam was practicing Solat Tarawikh, i think.

Simply Amazing..

How blessed i m. Siap dapat token. Ada door gift n fridge magnet.. MASYALLAH..

ALHAMDULLILAH... my visit here really remarkable visit. INSYALLAH kalau ada kelapangan nak mai lagi dan berjumpa new faces here. Kenapa i cakap cam ni. Masa solat tadi tu, i met one lady from Tunisia. Dia cakap, Malaysia is the best. Dan dia berhajat nak ke Blue Mosque one day.. Hei... bukan Blue Mosque Turki ye.. Shah Alam...hee..
Sebagai renungan bersama - sama..
