Beriani gam adalah hidangan yang terbaik di sini..Anda hanya boleh menikmati Beriani Gam Ayam dan Daging dengan harga RM6.00, dan Beriani Kambing dengan harga RM8.00 pada hari Isnin hingga Khamis. Manakala set istimewa pada harga RM 8.00 bagi Beriani Ayam dan Daging dengan harga RM8.00 dan Beriani Kambing dengan harga RM 9.00 pada hari Jumaat, Sabtu, dan Ahad.


Kalau hendak ke sini, saya menugkin tidak dapat memberikan gambaran yang jelas kerana baru pertama kali berada di sini.Tapi sebagai tip, cari Jusco Bandar Tun Jussein Onn. Manakala satu lagi landmarknya adalah Econsave..Kemudian, follow je lah address tu..

Weekend untuk makan..Part 2..

As promised, we went to Balakong for lunch.. Punya lah jauh nak makan..Hubby cakap this place sedap nasi beriani nya..Yelah orang Johor lah katakan...Dengar Nasi Beriani sedap je, sure nak cuba. Cukup sinonim dengan nasi beriani..Lagi pulak bila dengar Hubby promote bagai nak rak, terliuq lah jugak.. So, kita pekena beriani kat D'Ju Cafe lakk di Bandar Tun Hussein Onn ..

Kitarang gerak dalam pukul 11.45am.. Kata Hubby kena awal pasal tempat ni dah jadi favorite..Nasi berianinya memang tak lama kat situ..Licin..Tiba je, terus sambar nasi beriani dengan kambing plus dalca..Yang lain - lain pun makan nasi beriani kecuali Chef Koya.. Dia sambar Mee Rebus..tengokpun dah menyelerakan..

Masa makan lagi Hubby dah cakap, kalau nak tapau, ambik siap - siap lauk..Nanti habis.. Apa lagi, Chef Koya pun tolong bungkuskan Beriani Kambing dan Beriani Ayam..Then mintak waiter bungkuskan nasi...Memang pun, sedang kami makan, tengok kat tray tu, beriani kambing nya dah hampir licin dah....

After almost fourty five minutes here, we went back..It was so hot.. Once reached home teringat ada Lai Chi Kang yang telah dibuat Chef Koya, dua hari lepas..So, untuk menyejukkan tekak, me and Chef Koya prepared the drink. Best nya.Buatan sendiri lagi.. Pasti tak sama dengan kedai..g...

Lepas tu, dengan bersemangat i prepared the Bread Pudding.. Sebenarnya French bread tu dah terjelepuk kat situ almost a week..So, selagi tak expired, i terus buat Bread Pudding..Usually buat Bread Pudding ni main campak - campak je..Tapi pasal nak share the recipe, i pun buat lah anggarannya mengikut suka hati i..Harap - harap menjadi..Saje sesuka..

Jadi bab makan ni dah kira lengkap untuk dua hari punya N3, "weekend makan" or "makan weekend". Tang dinner tak payah lah ye..Cuma masak Asam Pedas Sembilang....Emmm..sexykan perut...

Weekend untuk makan..Part 1..

Family kami ni sinonim dengan "weekend makan" atau "makan weekend"..Sebenarnya bukan takat weekend baru makanh..cuma bila weekend ni, kalau bab makan akan jadi meriah lagi.. Makan punya hal, last Saturday, petang, Cek Yah kita ada called..panggil makan soto kat umah dia di Setapak..Tak sure whether can go or not...Yelah..kan Hubby baru balik fishing..So, qada' tidur lah..Tapi tah cam ne, maghrib tu dia kata ok je kalau pegi..So called Pak Ngah and Chef Koya, so kitarang p around 21.00pm..


Before that, memang dah plan, nak singgah Kg Baru..Apalagiiii...Nasi Kerabu Kak Som lah..dan pulut salut pisang...Tak tau lak nama betulnya...Apa - apa pun pada kami, this is the best place for nasi kerabu..Memang pajak kedai ni masa duduk KL sampai lah kami pindah ke Shah Alam.. Superb...

Well, tiba Setapak, meja rumah Cek Yah kita penuh makanan..Cek Yah kita ni ingatkan kitarang tak datang..Emmm, makan punya pasal mana boleh tak datang.. Menjamu seleralah kami.. Anak - anak makan bun yang Nek Cik buat..berselera.. Soto adalah main menu..Tapi tak sempat nak tangkap gambar..

Tapi yang paling i suka, kuih serabai..Kalau di Indonesia, dipanggil surabi.. Memula makan di Kampung Daun, Bandung.. Yelah nak cari kuih tradisional cam ne sekarang bit difficult..Siap bagi resepi..Nantilah kalau i ada kederat nak buat, i will share the recipe..TQ yee...Sedap Nek Cik buat...

Dah naik sarat perut memasing bagai mengandung 5 bulan, kami baliklah..Kami balik almost 23.45pm..Dah promised dengan Chef Koya dan Pak Ngah nak lunch kat Balakong...Kita pekena Nasi Beriani Gam pulak..heee....

Bread Pudding

Ingredients
1 french bread - torn or slice it into small pieces
1/2 can of condensed milk
1 can of evaporated milk
1 ts vanilla essence
Whipped cream
2 eggs - C size
10gm butter
Dark chocolate
Raisins
Brown sugar

Condensed milk, evaporated milk, whipped cream, french bread
Soak into the mixture
Cut dark chocolate
Sprinkle brown sugar, butter, and raisins

How??
1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine eggs, condensed and evaporated milk, and vanilla essence. Beat until well mixed.
2. Soak the bread into the mixture until soft. If necessary add 2 cups of plain water.
3. Put the chunk dark chocolate in a lightly greased casserole
4. Place the soft bread in casserole.
5. Pour the leftover mixture on top of bread.
6. Sprinkle with raisins, brown sugar, and butter. Wait till the bread completely soft.
7. Bake it with water bath method at 170 degrees C until set.
8. Cool it, before serving with the ice cream..

Dapur Alam means natural kitchen. It is located at Jalan Jelantik and most taxi drivers know this place..This is one of the HALAL restaurant in Kuta, Bali. This place offers the open air - pavilions where you could sit and eat..It has natural ambience and has playground for the kids. The staffs here are very friendly.

It offers a variation of Indonesian food mainly such as food from Menado, Balinese, Betawi, East Java and many more. The food is excellent and good value for money considering the large servings.
