My Sweet Memory in Kashmir Valley (5) - Pahalgam

Today was a third day in Kashmir..As planned,  Pahalgam to be explored. The distance between Srinagar to Pahalgam is about 94 kms. So, i  started my journey bit early at 9.00AM (11.30AM in Malaysia). Before that i took my breakfast, macam paratha, dhal, and something like cekodok gitu.. Yummmyy.. I like.. and Chai..
I miss this food now.
Kalau tak silap i, ini Jhelum River. If i m not mistaken lah.
On the way to Pahalgam, we stopped at one bakery. I nak tengok sendiri how they bake the bread. Kashmiris bread. Mr Fahad always tell me about this. So, i wanna see and taste this bread. Never seen in the hotel since day one.
He bought 2 pieces of plain bread and the other one yang macam ada sesame kot.. Cam tu lah..Bit hard this bread actually.. But you will feel full. Really..
Stop again just to see Mulberry tree. This tree kira macamana nak buat silk lahh.
Kunun - kunun bermesra dengan orang kampung. Tapi muka depa ni serius sangat.. I sorang je yang syok sendiri senyum lebih - lebih.. Heee...
Stopped again.. I nak gulin - gulin.. heee. Geram tengok this scene. Great view in Mustard Field. MASYALLAHHH.. cantik kann.. I cant believe my eyes. My car passed through a mustard filed in full bloom, in Srinagar, the summer capital. Kashmir is expecting bumper production of mustard due to favorable weather condition. ALHAMDULLILAH..I pun berphoto - photo..Well, my photographer memang pandai ambik scene yang cantik..Sukaaa..

This view was on the way to Pahalgam, 16 kilometres off Srinagar on the national highway. (highway yang you tak fikir itu highway). Biasalah kan with the political condition all the infrastructures semua tak separti yang  sepatutnya. Masa Mr Fahad told me that this was the highway, i dok gelak sakan.. Tak baik kan i.. Dia pun gelak samaaaa.. Nak wat cam ne.. ALHAMDULILAH bersyukur i sebab highway in Malaysia is much much better.
This is highway in Kashmir all the way to Pahalgam.
I love this..
We stopped again. This time Mr Fahad wanted to show me the oldest Chinnar in Kashmir. Very big tree. No one can cut Chinars Trees in Kashmir. Prohibited. Kalau kat rumah u chinar ni macam nak tumbang je, what u have to do is, complain to the authority, then they will come to your place and cut for u. U cant simply cut it..
Ada lubang kat pokok ni..Ini dalam lubang. Bersungguh 'cik abang' tu took the picture.. I takut gak, kut - kut dalam tu ada ular.. Tak ke naya.. Heee...

Chinar leaves.
Mak gadis dan bunga.. :-)
The students had their assembly. Bersungguh  Mr Fahad asked me to take this moment.. I pun suka je..

After some times, tiba lah di kawasan ni. Nampak tak sungai yang besar ni.. Ini lah nadi Kashmir. I love the view. Lidder River. So peaceful.
Lidder River .It is a snow - fed river which    originated  from the glaciers in the high mountains of Pahalgam.
It is the main source of water supply for the Anantnag. Mr Fahad said, he didnt like to call as Anantnag. He preferred it's called as Islamabad. (Hindu's name he told me..Okkk). This valley is surrounded by mountains and glaciers and is enriched by many streams.
To be in hill station of Pahalgam we cant simply go there. ALHAMDULLILAH Mr Fahad ada kawan yang bekerja dengan Kashmir Tourism. So, he called his friend. Unfortunately, his friend just had his surgery. Then we decided to go to his friend's house. Maka i pun melawatlah kawan dia ni.. And thru him, we got another person who can bring us to Pahalgam. ALHAMDULLILAH.. That's why we really need tour guide when u visit Kashmir. We cant simply redah je... Authority nya banyak songeh. Silap - silap lain pulak jadinya.. SO, better ada orang yang dikenali.
I forgot lah nama kawan dia ni..Nice guy..Hope get well soon. INSYALLAH.
His cousin with Kangri. Kangri is a source of warmth and also keeps Kashmiris mobile during winter.
Well, we also were served with hot Chai.. How generous. Suka i..

Mesti ada kuih - kuih cam ni. Tak pernah air saja.. Sedap pulak tu.. Maybe sebab sejuk kot.. Hee..lapar saja..
After some times, then the new guide sampai, kami terus menuju ke Pahalgam. Ini kat belakang rumah kawan Mr Fahad. Belakang tu Lidder River. The sound of the river made me nak ke sana je.. Tapi sejukkk sangat.
Cantik kat belakang tu kann.. Dah namanya kampung kan.. Bau kampung tu tetap ada.. Heeee..."HARUMMMM". But just love it. Agaknya orang kampung tu tengok i ambik gambar, sure dalam hati depa kata, hilang akai apa perempuan ni.. He..
They were ready to sell Kashmiri's stuffs. Macam shawls..Cam tu lahh..
Oklahh...malas nak cite panjang. Tengok je ye all the pictures here. Tengok how the road all the way ke sana. Mengerikan gak lahh.Tapi ALHAMDULILAH weather masa ni amat baik. Sunny. Kalau hujan, sure got problem..
All the roads were small. But i had expert driver. So, relax je lahh..
Pahalgam also known as village of shepherds. This view also proved it.
Land slide selalu jadi kat sini especially during rainy day.
Kena turun.. Tak boleh gerak.. Overloaded.
The road kat sini really not  in good condition..
Cantik kann..
Ada pony ride. I tak naik lahh..
..me and the picturesque and pristine beauty of Pahalgam.. MASYALLAHHH.. I still have many pictures in Pahalgam..So, tunggu next N3 ye.. I love to share most of the pictures here. Hope tak ada yang muak lahh.. Ini lah can i menayang muka i di tempat yang indah ini. Paradise of the Earth..

Volume 2, Book 20, Number 196 :

Narrated by 'Aisha
"When the prayers were first enjoined they were of two Rakat each. Later the prayer in a journey was kept as it was but the prayers for non-travellers were completed." Az-Zuhri said, "I asked 'Urwa what made Aisha pray the full prayers (in journey)." He replied, "She did the same as 'Uthman did."
