Putrajaya...Feb 16, 2010

After postponing about two days, finally we went to Putrajaya successfully..Even though i have been there for many times before, but this time the visit was
meaningful.

I brought my parents too. They only had been in Putrajaya Mosque once, and me too.

We reached Putrajaya at 4.45pm and 'adzan asar' was welcoming us.We did our prayer here and took some of the pictures here.

Bit warm here especially at this time 5.30pm. After looking around, we decided to go for a tea..
Then we went to Taman Warisan Pertanian. It is an agriculture park located at Presint 16.

A variety of crops that are planted here for you to see and touch. But i didnt have a chance because i was busy with the food..hee...

There are many stalls that sell drinks, and local Malay dishes. We ate 'Roti John', chicken soto, fried bananas, Lai Chi Kang, cendol, and, and,......So many foods to eat..
I was so excited to come here just because my husband told me about 'Iron Mosque' or 'Masjid Besi' or Masjid Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin.
Also after googling in the internet and saw the website, the excitement become more..

The mosque is fully completed on August 2009 and officially opened to the public on Friday at the eve of the month of Ramadhan 1430 Hijra.. .Located in Presint 3, close to the Palace of Justice. It is the second principal mosque after Putra Mosque. Easily can be seen from the main road.

We did our 'maghrib' prayer here..This mosque costs almost 208 million is stunning with modern architecture .After taking some pictures here,

we decided to go back home. But before that, we went for dinner
at Kiliney in Shah Alam.We were very happy with this visit, and INSYALLAH gonna have another visit to other places soon....

Exploring Tanjung Karang, Sekinchan, and Sabak Bernam....

Last Chinese New Year was quite a long break but we just not decided to go for any vacation at first.Just stayed at home and spent the time with family. Most of the family like my aunty and cousin went to Penang.Bila duk fikir2 balik, that is such a waste if the time is not fulfill with something besides cooking and eating..Heeee Then after short discussion with hubby, we decided to explore some part of Selangor..Maksudnya we dont have to stay over nite anywhere.Satu lagi faham2 aje lah bila 'Cuti - cuti Malaysia' ni..Every hotel surely penuh.

We started our journey from Subang Jaya because we went to Subang Parade for lunch first at Sari Ratu Restoren. There were 8 of us including my parents and sister.

I noticed that my parents like eating here.He loves the masak lemak urat, and sambal ijau.

Makan is the important part for us...

Ikan Nila..so crispy

The interior of the Sari Ratu Restoren
Bila perut dah kenyang, we started our journey and heading to Kuala Selangor..Nothing much we can do in Kuala  Selangor coz it is my hubby's hometown and this place is quite familiar with us.We just went straight to Tanjung Karang.Sebenarnya something that really catch my interest in Tanjung Karang is sawah padi..Thru website i found Homestay Sungai Haji Dorani .Actually my hubby and me nak anak - anak gain some experiences dengan life in kampung yang ada sawah..Dan aku sendiri pun tak pernah merasainya..hanya dapat memandangnya if we go to Bali.

After almost 2 hours driving from Subang Jaya, we reached at Tanjung Karang.Semedang my hubby anak kelahiran Kuala Selangor, aku rasa he has bit knowledge about this area..We turned right dan terus memasuki kawasan sawah padi..But i really frustrated that the paddies were already cut.Amazingly the view was so orang kata saujana mata memandang..Kawasan sawah meeeemang luas terbentang......

We started exploring dari kawasan Sungai Burung 1, Sawah Sempadan, Tanjung Karang..(harap2 betullah fakta tempat ni)..Sawah2 di sini kalau tak silap aku merupakan kawasan padi yang terbesar in Selangor ni.

The sawah really well managed, tersusun.

Sistem perparitan yang sistematik

Sempat berposing di tgh panas

We stopped for awhile here just to take a look around.

Oooo...begini rupanya.

The weather outside was so hot...Masa tu just around 3.30pm..Of course lah senyap sonyi je kawasan tu..diarang just had their lunch and maybe took a nap...sedangkan kami macam org tak betul berjalan tengah2 panas ni..

We also had a chance to look at the river which is punca air yang disalurkan ke bendang.

The view was so awesome.

Well we ended up di kawasan sawah ni dengan keluar ke Sungai Burung 4.

Once we reached at the main road, kita sudah nampak few stalls yang menjual mangga, jagung, dan air on the side road.Apalagi, of course we stopped and bought some fresh corn and mangoes.

We continued our journey and heading to Sekinchan..I still remember that i have a friend who's staying here. But it was almost 20 years ago.Hard to remember where the house is..Apa yang aku observe di sini, orang Sekinchan suka menanam pokok sukun.

Once we reached at the pekan, we stopped at one warung
and had our drink..minum2 dulu...

It was almost 5.30pm and everybody wanted to do the prayers, so we decided to stop at the mosque nearby.

Unfortunately my camera was ran out of battery. We continued our trip and heading to Sabak Bernam.I really looking forward to come to this area.Sabak Bernam is famous with the home stay. After got some infos and phone numbers, i found out about this place.D'Marine Resort Sungai Haji Dorani..

This place is located on the left side if we come from Kuala Lumpur, whereas home stay is on the right side.Kalau di bahagian kiri 'wisata'nya adalah pantai, means that you can do fishing while right side kaya dengan sawah padi.

We spent almost an hour here exploring the place.Well..not bad.. pada mana2 family yang menggila dengan pancing, this place is really suggested. The D'Marine Resort has 2 categories of accommodation, chalet and apartment. The chalets is located on the sea and apartments nya di bahagian darat..

After got some infos and flyers about this place,we drove back and it was almost dark. Planning wanna stay at least one nite here.Maybe around end of May..menurut sumber that time, paddy is almost time to be harvested..INSYALLAH..

On the way back, kami singgah sat kat Kuala Selangor for our dinner and Isyak prayer. We reached home almost midnite.Tired ..but happy with the activities..
