Today was my fourth day in Kashmir, April 8, 2012. Time went so fast. i just had another 2 days more in Kashmir. Today, i nak explore Sonmarg or Sonmarg. Golden Meadow during spring. But my trip to Kashmir was at the beginning of spring. Still sejuk and some parts ada snow. Anyway the journey between Srinagar and Sonamarg is about 81 kms. Quite some times gak lah nak tiba. Maybe would take 2 hours to reach there.
Anyway, i moved quite early after took a bit of food at the hotel. On the way, Mr Fahad asked the driver to stop at Zain Ul Abedin or Naseem Bagh, University of Kashmir. Compound nya memang dalam university lahh..Ada apa ek kat situ??
In front of this bagh is Dal Lake
Chinar Trees. Mr Fahad told me that there were about 400 trees here. But after walking further, we noticed, more than that. Maybe around 500 plus. The government prohibited people from cutting the trees freely. It totally banned and an offence here. This tree takes about hundred years to grow coz it grows so slow. And it is a heritage tree to Kashmiris.

Nak cari yang masih hijau tak ada lah kan. Sebab baru je habis winter. Daun semua baru tumbuh baru dan tinggi - tinggi..Yang ni yang dapat i tangkap rupanya.

Naseem Bagh is also part of the Kashmir University. Here are some of the faculties in the university. So green this area.

About 2.5 hours journey nampak lah Sindh River. In ancient times Hindus lived on banks of Sindh. Instead of calling hindus, the Arabs called them Sindhus. From that period it is called as Sindh.

I missed all these yellow views...

Pernah Mr Fahad sent me pictures kat sini during autumn. And today i boleh nampak with my own eyes...

Kampung. Rice filed ada kat sini.

Road to Sonamarg

Mosque in a middle of the journey.

Stopped here. Nak ambik gambar..

Shepherd huts.

A year ago berangan - angan wanted to see this river.. MASYALLAHH All in ALLAH's hands...just i couldnt touch the water. Coldddd

First time touched the snow.. Kira sakan lah..

I love this place.. The ice was melting. Tu yang jalan tu basah. Tunnel of snow.

At first Mr Fahad wanted to bring me further up to the hill, unfortunately not allowed by the police coz VVIP gonna be visited the place. So, kitarang cancelled then terus pi breakfast..Late breakfast. My tummy menyanyi - nyanyi sebab kan i just took little breakfast pagi tadi tu.. Lagipun sejuk kot..

We ordered omelet and bread. Panas - panas kitarang ngap.. YA ALLAHHHH..so yuummmyyy.. Maybe coz we were starving kot.. Hee. Licing.....

And Chai.. (Alamak tetiba i miss all the chai..Different with ours. Coz diarang use fresh milk).

Jangan marah ye sebab i menayang muka punya lah banyak kat sini.. Bagi chance ye.. Selalunya kan jaranggg sangat muka i dalam N3. Tapi kat Kashmir, i cant help it.. Heeeee...

Kalau teringin nak main ni pun boleh. Bayar je lah.. Ada sorang tu asyik tanya je dengan Mr Fahad either i nak ke tidak. Tak kuasa i.. Takut silap ari bulan terjatuh i, terus sakit balik back bone i.. Emmm.. better not..

saja je ni.. Just kenang - kenangan..with Mr Fahad.. My great tour guide in Kashmir..JAZAKALLAHUL KHAIR...
Eh..lagi...

dan lagiii....

dan lagiii..

Heee.... nak wat cam ne... Dah photographer i suruh.. tangkap je lahhh..See the altitude in Sonamarg...

Ni sama dengan my driver. Ni lah transportation yang i guna kan ke mana - mana semasa di Kashmir. Ada yang teruk dari ni tau. Tapi i dah cakap dengna Mr Fahad, i wanted the most comfortable transportation during my trip. Semua nya sebab masalah back bone i..And maybe coz of this, i langsung tak rasa tired or sakit sepanjang i ada di Kashmir.. NOT AT ALL.. SSengal - sengal sikit tu adat lahh.. I was so happy. Ok..i stop dulu bahagian ni. Ada lagi tau.. I have to make 2 parts sebab gambar banyakkkk sangat.. Hee.. Kak K a s i h r e d h a kata dia tak muakk. Lagi satu nak racun W a h i d a .. hee..So i layan je lah yeee..

The Prophet said, "Faith (Belief) consists of more than sixty branches (i.e. parts). And Haya (This term "Haya" covers a large number of concepts which are to be taken together; amongst them are self respect, modesty, bashfulness, and scruple, etc.) is a part of faith." |
